nasa cards

A new product is needed for the NASA Gift Shop. Targeting space enthusiasts and collectors, I merged scientific storytelling with luxury-grade production value.

The cards aim to capture the awe of space exploration while elevating its presentation into something tactile, durable, and timeless.

The primary challenge was balancing technical accuracy with visual simplicity, while ensuring cohesion across the full set.

What is it?

These NASA collectible trading cards are cold to the touch, and clink when placed on the table. They are metallic plaques covered in a black coating.

By using a laser-cutter machine, the coating is engraved and removed, revealing the metallic finish underneath.
